HUSH was asked by Marc Thorpe @ Third Eye Studios to take part in the reputable Showtime “Cassa” project that happens every year in a new, coveted architectural space here in the city. To promote various new and old Showtime series, Showtime invites architects, designers and now, media / storyteller specialists like HUSH, to design architectural spaces around the themes of their shows. This year, we have access to famed Mexican architect Enrique Norton’s new private residence building in mid-town. HUSH and Third Eye Studios will develop interior design and media projections for a space based on the themes of the upcoming series “The Borgais” about the original gangstas – the Italian mafia – god, religion, family, crime, etc. Here at HUSH we’re sure to bend those themes pretty far. So far, we’re pushing physical neon signage, projection of religion icons that twist perception and provide sensory overload/deprivation. Welcome to our home!
An Evening of Audio/Video Indulgence – Multi-disciplinary design studio, HUSH, invites you to shake a leg at the upcoming Digital DUMBO event @ Galapagos Art Space. Conceived in DUMBO, birthed in DUMBO, operating daily in DUMBO, (as well as Montreal, Canada), HUSH focuses on telling stories with moving images as they pertain to all things digital. We promise: no long speeches, no bombastic proclamations, just good times.
We’ve got DJ and VJ performances to stimulate the senses, camera flashes to help you get your 15 minutes of fame, and of course, an open bar to make your night worth while. Mark your calendar. Come get a drink. Drop a card. It’s nice to meet you. Now, smile.
It seems like just yesterday we we’re crammed into the tiny room at Rebar for Digital Dumbo number one. A lot has changed, now I work in that very same building, and the Digital Dumbo event has flourished. Kudos to all for making this thing happen. What a differencea year makes. read up on last night here
Great to see so many friends and kick off the year right. The studio walls filled with scribbled New Year’s resolutions a plenty…then spun off into X-rated illustration debauchery, as expected.
This month, space150, a digital agency in constant evolution with a singular mission of creating ideas that make life better, will be co-sponsoring Digital DUMBO #8 providing a unique perspective on the digital space from their company all while collaborating with influential members of the digital community.
HUSH was asked to submit a short piece around the idea of what has happened in the last 150, and what we predict will come in the next 150 days. We think we are “right-on” with this future thinking.
