Challenge

Encourage people to set their intentions for the year ahead by creating an experience built on meditation and contemplation and the metaphor of a wishing well. Combine the physical and digital worlds by mixing the sculptural form and high-concept creative technologies.

Opportunity

VOLO is an artwork defined by a physical, multi-aggregate wishing well that is brought to life by augmented reality. The well contains an infinite stream of digital wishes from around the world whose shape, movement and story is unique to each participant.

Augmenting Studio Sounds with LISTEN

Challenge

Engage and unite our community in a shared listening experience that exists at the intersection of visual design, augmented-reality technology, personal data, and sonic interaction. Could we engage our community to create a piece of work that’s as unique and diverse as its creators?

Opportunity

HUSH/Listen is a design experiment created by curating all of the music tracks that we associate with the places we’ve called home. The geographical and music history data of those tracks is used as inputs to design a “digital record” of our collective experience that can be played through Instagram’s AR platform.
