Looking back at a year of stories and successes, twists and turns, discoveries and surprises, we sought a new way to archive this important passage of time.

Over the course of an entire year, we captured key company business data that shed light on the studio’s workflow: computers in use, images made, positive sentiments shared, hours of travel, and even late night food and beverages.

We plotted these data points on a five-axis graph and created unique, curved shapes by connecting each set of data points, one shape for each month of the year. We CNC-ed each shape and organized them in a stacked fashion, forming a sculptural work of art possible only through a strict adherence to our own data. “Made By Numbers” is a beautiful, curvilinear sculpture that ebbs and flows from top to bottom—just like the narrative of the year.
